Hi Skip. I need to update this script for the newer versions of Gimp. I think that Gimp 2.4 & beyond require that all of the variables be declared as opposed to just set on the fly as I've done in this script. This is what is causing the unbound variable error. I'll try to do that and update this entry soon.

I'm not sure about why it won't let you put it in your scripts directory. What OS are you running? What specific directory are you trying to put it in?

I have tried to install this several times but keep getting the same error messages. First it doesn't let me install it directly saying I don't have permission to save it to the scripts file.

Second it gives me this error message when I try to run it on an image

LAB Colorboost Message

Error while executing script-fu-lab-colorboost:

Error: set!: unbound variable: labimage

Can you help me get this working?
Oooo! I love renovations! I mean...I've never renovated anything, so I don't have an opinion about ME doing renovations, but I LOVE seeing other people's renovations! I hope you keep us updated. Good luck and I hope it turns out just the way you want. P.S. I think your yard looks awesome.

Book, I look forward to your renovations post, too!

Be sure to keep us update on your project. Also, I'd like feed back on your upside down tomato. And is that a square foot garden next to the patio? We have used two over the years. This year we are adding 3 more that are larger than the other two.

Where did you go to get the computer to tell you what you should do? Looks like work, but I ithink it will pay off big dividends in terms of enjoying your yard. I'm thinking you may want to leave the big deck for outdoor barbeques. You might like it if you ever add a picnic table. It looks perfect without the rails.

We are doing some major projects, too. At least they feel major for this old couple. I've been taking pictures so I think I'll do a post. Thanks for the inspiration, Ben.

Out in the west toads make their own homes! At least, I think they do.

Laughed at your descriptions of those frogs 'tickling' each other. You're going to need to add on to Toadtopia when some of those eggs hatch. You could end up with such an overpopulated 'city' that you'll need to import mosquitoes.

Cool! I remember being eaten alive by mosquitoes when I lived in New York (we don't have any in Cedar, so I wasn't used to remembering to put on bug spray), so I think the idea of having mosquito-eating toads is totally awesome. Good luck with your toad compounds and your meadow!
