Serenity: someone else's review

Cyndi sent me a link to this review:

Movie Review: Serenity

It's a pretty good review, but most importantly it has this line:

...Whedon trumps all his competitors; he knows how to write people so realistic you’ll instantly hate everything else on television.

That is what I always tell people when I talk about Firefly: it's the characters. They're great, they're real, they're likeable and flawed; and like the reviewer said, they make me hate (most) everything else on TV.
