wow, that's pretty cool stuff. i guess i'm a bit of a font nerd myself. tho i'd never admit that in public. d'oh!

Enclosing asterisks marks text as bold (*word*), underscore are made via _word_.
Standard emoticons like :-) and ;-) are converted to images.
