May 30: Some Photos
After getting my camera back on Wednesday, I was anxious to get out and do some shooting. So, I went out last Thursday during lunch to Scott's Run, a little park where Gary and I have shot several times before. The camera was working great. Nikon had updated the firmware for me and the new menus and dialogs look great. None of my shots were all that great, but there were a few I liked well-enough, so I figured I'd post them here. So, here they are:
Also, I posted some pics from my family's trip up to the mountains a couple weeks ago on my family photos site.

That fixed up camera is working pretty well. Great shots. I enjoyed browsing through your family photo site, too. What darling kids!
Thanks! I've had a kid pics site up for a while, but just revamped it to use this new software. I've set it up so that Debbie's family (and Cyndi's sisters) can upload to it, so hopefully there'll be photos of more than just my family soon. Maybe I should expand it to include all the family to the west, too. Do you think anyone would use it?

Hi FrogTracks. It's on my own server so it's got plenty of space. Assuming you're a member of the family, I can set you up with a login and send you the instructions on how to upload.
The family photo site is a great idea! I hope everyone uses it. I am always trying to get my hands on new pictures of everbody. I plan on uploading a bunch of pics soon.

A family site sounds fabulous. Let's encourage everyone to add a family group shot occasionally. You will be sure to walk us through how to do this. Maybe we should suggest people only upload their best or favorite photos. Do we need to pitch in any money to cover any costs? Maybe pay the administrator? What to you say to $100? J/K
I'd be paying for the server either way so money is entirely unnecessary. Fame and power is all I really need.
