Dec 19: One more quiz
I guess it's quiz day for me:

I don't think the blurb really matches up with the percentages, which are basically equal. This is interesting because I've always thought of myself as equally left- and right-brained. I think this is why I enjoy photography so much; it is both creative and technical. When I was young, I was ambidextrous. My mom remembers watching me write with one hand and then switch to the other without missing a beat. When I was in the third or fourth grade, a teacher told me I had to choose one; I chose the left. Now, I write left-handed, but throw and kick right-handed. If I don't think about it, I can write the same thing with both hands but the right hand writes backwards. This 'skill' is fading as I get older, but when I did it years ago the handwriting was basically identical. Note: I'm including the extended results after the jump. I don't expect anyone to read them; it's mainly because I want to read them at some point, and this is an easy way to do so. I know, I know; it seems the only thing I ever blog about is t-shirts. Usually what happens, though, is I notice a shirt I want to blog about, but then feel guilty about only blogging about shirts. So, I post another post to assuage my guilt and then wait a day to post about the shirt. Ok, I don't know if this is what actually usually happens, or if it's only what happened this time. My guess is that what actually happens is that I just don't get around to blogging anything and the shirt somehow goes on without comment from me.
Not this time (assuming I finish this post--stay tuned to see!)! I mentioned shirt.woot in this post a while ago (sidenote: I haven't kept up with Design By Humans, who were the subject of that post--they need an RSS feed or newsletter or something. Who can be bothered to remember to visit a site anymore?). Shirt.woot has an RSS feed, so I check out their daily shirts. I haven't bought one yet, but there have been many that tempted me. For example, I love this one which I think is part of the current contest or something (I don't really know how they get picked or anything, I just look at the shirts): I love the deceit, the argument, orange shirts. Great shirt. The fact that it's really some in-joke for gamers is easily ignored in the face of such a surreal statement; I'm glad I don't get the joke (although, this may just be my way of dealing with my realization that I'm not 'in' on the joke). I don't know how they do it, but whoever writes the descriptions for woot is a genius. They're almost universally amusing and/or clever. Take the following spoof of "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" in support of the shirt "Dependence Day":
I've come to the end of this post, but as usual, have no way of wrapping it up... Dec 14: Another month, another post
Since last we met, I've started the new job. Also, I've started looking for another new job. This one isn't working out. It kind of sucks that that it isn't working out, but at least I realized it sooner rather than later.
I never got around to blogging about the second concert I had seen. It was Morrissey at Constitution Hall. It was a great show, but now it's too late to really blog. I'll just say that due to some cosmic fluke we ended up right against the stage for almost the entire concert and that I ended up with a piece of Moz's Dolce and Gabbana shirt and a drumstick. Oh yeah, I also hopped up on stage and was tackled by security. Luckily, a couple people captured it and put it on YouTube (I'm in the red shirt--about a minute into the first vid and right at the beginning of the second): Lastly, I just found this photographer on flickr who shoots a lot of photos of dogs. I'm not much of a dog person, but for some reason, I love a lot of her shots--particularly this one: Check out the rest of her stream.
