The offer we made was accepted, but it's meaningless. Our offer said that they would have to give us three days to remove our contingency (our house has to sell before we can buy their's) if they got another, non-contingent, offer. They changed it to one day, so if they get another offer, we've got 24 hours to remove the contingency. Since the only way to remove the contingency is to sell our house, the only thing that this contract does is to let them know that we're interested in buying their house. Oh well, at least
something has happened, even if it is nothing.
On a related note, we're only three days shy of having our house on the market for six months.
